NERC Panels at the RSA

The New England Renaissance Conference (NERC) is an affiliate organization of the Renaissance Society of America (RSA). As such, NERC has the opportunity to sponsor and to submit panel proposals directly for the RSA annual meeting each spring, without going through the usual vetting process by the RSA Program Committee. The proposed panels must meet the usual requirements in terms of scholarly rigor, RSA membership of panel participants, submissions deadlines, and so forth. NERC-sponsored panels must be approved and submitted by the NERC President each year. Details about that process are on the RSA website here: https://www.rsa.org/page/2020SubmissionsGuide#sponsoredsessions

If you wish to submit a NERC-sponsored panel, please write to the NERC President (Christopher_Carlsmith@uml.edu). Proposals should be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the RSA deadline of Aug. 15, i.e. by Aug. 1.

NERC members may use this website or the NERC mailing list to advertise potential panels and to find participants. NERC members may also post a CFP (Call for Papers) on the RSA website too.
